Hey all bloodsuckers and whipper-snappers!
I thought that this would be a good place to put my SotN progress for those interested as well as some information.
For those interested in SotN speedruns and want to learn more about it there is a wiki (http://deanyd.net/sotn/index.php?title=Main_Page) that should explain it somewhat. I can't guarantee that what is in the wiki is 100% true and it's not by any means a complete guide as I've had to do most of the work on it by myself. If you think of something that should get changed/fixed or added to it, you can PM me on the SDA forums or on the SRL IRC.
If you're interested in running any of the many categories this game presents, I think these are the things you should do to get started:
1. Watch the current world record video (you can find it in here (http://pastebin.com/txfrBJ4m) or on the world record holders respective Youtube channels)
2. Join the SotN community on the speedrunslive IRC and join #castlevania
3. Use the wiki -> http://deanyd.net/sotn/index.php?title=Main_Page
4. Practice the route/tricks and ask for help in #castlevania
