Can someone give me a little list of games that are easy to run or at least a lot easier than super metroid on the super famicom? I need more games >.<
Edit : Also games that are quicker due to Japanese text or something different in the Japanese version?
Thread title:
There are technically no difference between US and JAP games for SNES/SFC. Other than the rom inside the cart.

No games are easy to speedrun. :) Try looking into Disney games, they are usually pretty short.

There are sometimes. FFIV is supposed to be a lot different between US and JP. But I cannot tell you the details ^^'
Biggest difference I know is that FFIV has different items to cure each status effect, instead of just one cure all.
Megaman X - Megaman X3 are all faster due to Japanese Text, and learning the basic route to speedrun them isn't that very hard, but the difficulty ramps up pretty much if you're going to try the harder tricks like Iceless jumps and optimal movement etc etc. They are all really fun though
I would like to have a guide on "modding" a ntsc-console so you can play SFC games aswell on it! :D

I think all you need is a SFC to SNES adapter...fits between the console and the game.
I rented Turtles in Time from a video store when I was about 13, it was the SFC version and came with the adapter.

I assume there isn't any difference in operation...could be wrong.

Just break off the small plastic tabs and you are golden.
