So. Will there be a "main - stream" and a "secondary stream"? Like should people submit games for both streams?

Like in my case I would submit Braid for main stream (maybe) and "Another Perspective" for secondary stream.

From the most recent discussions.

There will be one stream. Until the point where there are enough games to fill up a second stream.

The runners won't suggest runs for either stream but to the event as a whole.
The runners will however have an opt-out option whether or not their they are OK with having their game on the second stream. To clarify this further, the runner can either opt-out all of their games or none from the second stream.

It's 100% up to the schedule group to make the best schedule.

I watched AGDG 2014 mostly through the main website (gamesdonequick.com) and I really liked the atmosphere of the IRC-chat that was embedded there. That brought a question/idea to my mind. As a known fact, not everyone is fancying the Twitch chat, at least not in bigger events like these. So are there any plans of implementing IRC-chat on to the main website at the time of ESA?

Yes there is.

If I'm not mistaken we had one last year but was some technical issues so we sort of skipped to use it officially on the event.
Twitch chat /is/ an irc. You'd commect to #channel on irc.twitch.tv (so, for ludendi's twitch chat, it'd be #ludendi)
Sometimes they force you to use a chat key. That's annoying.
Maybe I'll make a guide.

My bad, I forgot to specify that I meant a specially deployed irc channel in Quakenet (or ircnet or whatever).

It's nice that you have plans of using this. I hope it will work out as planned.

wolfie, the point is, twitch chat is riddled with... sorry to say it like this, idiots and immaturity, the quakechat/irc was much more mature, also there were less people over there so it was overall a better and actually readable chat.

imho since i went on the gamesdonequick.com site i've not gone back to the twitch page it self due to the severity of how bad the twitch chat was behaving.

if there is any issues with the quakechat/irc or whatever i might be able to help out? i've worked with irc chat alot and if need be i can figure out how to program some bots for it, possibly link filters or something similar, the implementation might be something i could possibly help with too but that's website design which i'm not super confident with, but i can always learn!
It's been a while since I've done any IRC server poking, but bots aren't that hard to write in general.

That is nothing you should have to worry about for right now.
My friend that is an working web designer has been asked for the job. So if our team decides to hire him it will all work out.
